The oldest known plaster wall was found in Syria and dated to 5000BC. Suffice it to say plaster has been around for a very long time and is not going anywhere. Even though the rest of the world never lost touch with plaster, the United States did while it experimented with different wall systems and materials from the 1960s through the 1980s (it was a crazy time). But nothing quite feels and resonates the way plaster does.
So in the late 1990s, we saw the subtle return of plaster to United States' interiors. Slowly over the last 20 years, more and more designers, architects, and builders have showed a renewed appreciation for the understated beauty of plaster and its many forms.
With each installation we strive for a look of understated elegance and gravitas, giving a room a sort of presence that no other wall system can offer. On each project, our only purpose is to fulfill the vision of our clients.
